Swiss star Belinda Bencic has announced that she is pregnant and expecting her first child

Switzerland’s Belinda Bencic has announced that she is pregnant and expecting her first child with partner Martin Hromkovič.
“Expecting our little miracle soon! We can’t wait to meet you,” wrote Bencic on Instagram.
Olympic gold medallist Bencic, who topped the women’s singles podium at Tokyo 2020, has been named in the Switzerland team for the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Finals, which get underway on Tuesday.
The defending champions face a big challenge to retain their Billie Jean King Cup crown having been drawn alongside two serial winners in Group A – USA, who have topped the tournament podium a record 18 times, and 11-time winners Czechia.
However, the Swiss are a well-oiled machine and will have no desire to relinquish their world champion status without a fight.
